1. Our Services
We provide a website that allows you ("Shop Owner," "User") to:
Create an online store using a free subdomain (e.g., yourstore.shops.shakuniya.in).
Customize your store using our templates.
Manage products, inventory, plans/pricing, and track sales via your dashboard.
2. Account Registration
You must be 18 years or older to use this platform.
You are responsible for all activity under your account (adding products, setting prices).
You agree to keep your dashboard login credentials secure.
3. Your Responsibilities as a Shop Owner
Product Compliance: You are solely responsible for the products you sell to your customers. We do not review or endorse your products.
Legal Compliance: You must comply with all laws regarding your business (taxes, consumer rights, etc.).
Customer Data: You are responsible for obtaining consent from your customers regarding their personal data (see Privacy Policy Section 5).
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You may not use our platform to:
Sell illegal, counterfeit, or dangerous goods.
Infringe on someone else's trademark or copyright.
Host a store that promotes hate speech, violence, or discrimination.
Attempt to hack or overload our servers.
Violation of this policy will result in immediate suspension of your subdomain and dashboard access.
5. Subdomains
We grant you a license to use a subdomain for as long as your account is active.
You do not own the subdomain. If your account is terminated, the subdomain is revoked.
You may upgrade to a custom domain (e.g., yourstore.shops.shakuniya.in) in the future if we offer that feature.
6. Plans & Payments
Free Tier: Basic features (limited products, basic templates).
Paid Plans: Additional features (advanced analytics, more inventory, priority support).
Billing: We charge you (the shop owner) monthly or annually. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
Taxes: You are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax on products you sell to your customers. We only charge you for the software.
7. Intellectual Property
Our IP: The platform code, templates, dashboard design, and "subdomain system" belong to us. You may not copy or resell our software.
Your IP: You retain 100% ownership of your product photos, descriptions, and brand name. You grant us a license to display them on your subdomain so your customers can see them.
8. Limitation of Liability
We provide the platform "as is." We are not liable for:
Lost sales or profits due to downtime (server issues).
Disputes between you and your customers.
Legal issues arising from the products you sell.
9. Termination by Us
We may terminate your account immediately if:
You violate the Acceptable Use Policy.
Your payment is limited to a number of days overdue.
You attempt to reverse-engineer our platform.
10. Governing Law
Tamil Nadu, India law governs these terms.
